Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to elderly clients, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor clients’ health status and vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse rate, and temperature, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with medication management, including administering medications, medication reminders, and medication reconciliation.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship, fostering meaningful connections and emotional support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers, to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving or healthcare, with a focus on senior care.
- Empathy, patience, and compassion for elderly individuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification or training in caregiving, nursing assistance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
