The General Manager will provide strategic leadership and oversee the company’s operations, ensuring that business goals and objectives are met. This individual will drive growth, manage resources effectively, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management, excellent leadership skills, and preferably experience in the tech industry. This candidate would report directly to the C-suite level in the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals in alignment with market opportunities and organizational objectives
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in delivering products or services.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion strategies to drive revenue growth
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for investors, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Technology Adoption: Leverage emerging technologies to improve processes, products, and services, keeping the company competitive in the market.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
- Compliance: Ensure that the company adheres to all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior or middle management role, preferably in a tech-driven or startup environment.
- Strong understanding of the tech industry and startup ecosystem in Nigeria.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and achieving business objectives.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with financial management, including budgeting and financial analysis.
